Will Boa Hancock Join in the Wano Arc to Help Luffy?

As of my last knowledge update in August 2023, Boa Hancock does not make an appearance in the Wano Arc in the One Piece manga or anime series. Throughout the Wano Arc, Luffy receives support from various allies, but Hancock's involvement specifically in that arc does not materialize. For any developments beyond this point, you would need to consult the latest chapters or episodes released after August 2023.

Some theories suggest that if the Straw Hat Fleet was to make an official appearance in the continuity, it is possible that Hancock could join them. At the time of the Wano Arc, the Warlords were disbanded, and the Navy's attack on Amazon Lily was interrupted by Blackbeard. Raleigh and Shakky negotiated a situation where both the Navy and Blackbeard are no longer a threat to Amazon Lily. Moreover, it's mentioned that the Navy had bigger priorities at that moment, which implies that Hancock's involvement might have been more urgent elsewhere.

Harry Potter Spoiler Alert

However, if one were to speculate based on timeline perturbations, chapter 1057 of the manga shows that the Supernovas have already won the battle in the Wano Arc. Luffy awakened his Devil Fruit and became the Sun God Nika, while Yamato stayed behind in Wano to help Momonosuke. Boa Hancock, however, did not come to Wano to help due to her own troubles. She was attacked by the Marines because her title of Warlord had been upheld, and simultaneously, Blackbeard also attacked her for her Devil Fruit. Dark King Rayleigh saved her, but Blackbeard kidnapped Captain Koby.

Currently, Hancock is dealing with the Marines due to her retracted title as a Warlord. Given this, she can't exactly go help Luffy. Even if she were to defeat the Marines that are currently opposing her, which is likely given the absence of an Admiral, she would still take days or even weeks to reach Wano. Amazon Lily is in Paradise, while Wano is in the New World, so distance would be a significant factor in her arrival.

Despite these challenges, Luffy will need to deal with Kaido using the resources he already has. The situation, given the current context, is actually in Luffy's favor as he now faces one of the most powerful enemies, Kaido, who has been weakened in the arc.

After defeating Kaido, Luffy is likely to be considered the new Emperor, given his recent victory and the diminished power of his enemies. This concludes the discussion on Boa Hancock's potential involvement in the Wano Arc and her current situation.
