My Favorite Kids Shows: A Parent’s Perspective

As a parent without kids, I still find myself enjoying some of the most delightful and entertaining animated series. From classic cartoon favorites to modern hit shows, there's a vast array of content that both children and adults can enjoy together. In this article, I'll share some of my personal favorites and some recommendations based on the shows my kids and I love.

Classic Favorites

The Amazing World of Gumball and Darwin:
This show has been a constant on our viewing list whenever it airs. Whenever my cousins would visit, they would always beg me to watch it with them, and I would always oblige. The humor in this show is unparalleled, and it's a source of endless laughter for me. Whenever I watch it, it puts a smile on my face and never fails to cheer me up. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already; it will surely brighten your day.

Parents' Memories

I still remember the days when I was a child, and we watched many iconic series together as a family. Here are some of my fondest memories:

Octonauts: A heartwarming adventure series that takes the viewers on a journey of exploration and excitement. Tree Fu Tom: A show that combines nature with fun and adventure, perfect for my nature-loving mind. Sarah and Duck: A simple, yet delightful cartoon that always had a way of making me smile. Rastamouse: A colorful and vibrant show that has a lot of fun and adventure. Mr. Tumble: A charming and educational series that has stayed with me even to this day. The Adventures of Abney and Tail: A brilliantly crafted show that has a charm like no other.

Current Hits

My children are big fans of Fukrey Boyzzz and Little Singham. The latter show has gained immense popularity lately, thanks to its thrilling action-adventure stories. I recently found out about a new Little Singham movie called King Cobra Sabko Dhassega, and I highly recommend checking out the teaser; it looks absolutely fascinating.

Modern Enjoyments

For me, Peppa Pig, Family Fun Pack, Tic Tac Toy Family, Norris Nuts, and Star Wars are some of the must-watch shows. However, Sponge Bob and Paw Patrol often don't grab my attention as much. I find them slightly less engaging or not as exciting as the other shows.

Another favorite of mine is StoryBots. This series is not only educational and funny but also features a cast of characters that learn about various subjects in a fun and interactive way. From Snoop Dog teaching you about computers to potatoes being raptured to a spa, the show is packed with quirky and entertaining content.

Disappointments

While I find some shows delightful, there are others that leave much to be desired. Shows like PJ Masks and Paw Patrol are driving me slightly mad with their poor quality and cliché storylines. On the other hand, shows like Octonauts, Peppa Pig (although I can't get into it as much), and Hey Duggee are ones that bring a smile to my face and make my kids laugh out loud.

As a parent, it's always a balancing act to find content that both you and your kids will enjoy. However, with so many fantastic options out there, there's bound to be something that suits everyone's taste.
