The Influence of Myths and Misconceptions: Why People Succumb to Witchcraft and Demon Control
People left to their own devices don’t have much choice. Without access to the New Covenant and the promise of never being alone, many live apart from the covenant, leaving them vulnerable to the demons, witchcraft, and sorcery they fear. Despite the efforts of Christianity, many lack the understanding of the benefits of being saved. This ignorance leaves them open to the promise of dark forces that can control, manipulate, brainwash, and deceive the mind.
Why is the Ability to Think Domonized?
The ability to think critically is often seen as a requirement for free will. However, why do people allow nonsensical and illogical dogmas to dominate their critical thinking? Is it simply a lack of knowledge or a cultural legacy that has normalized beliefs without questioning them?
Some of these myths, particularly those related to religion, are deeply ingrained in cultural heritage. This makes it socially acceptable to question and disbelieve them, leading to the perception that these beliefs are beyond scrutiny. People allow this because they lack the knowledge to do anything about it, and cultures often support the status quo, making change difficult.
Religious Myths and Their Impact
The term demon has its roots in the Greek word Daemon, which generally refers to a living/spiritual being that is not human. In this context, insects, animals, fish, bacteria, jinn, earth, aliens, and even gods are all considered daemons. However, the Catholic Church redefined the term, turning these entities into “evil beings.”
Many people believe that witchcraft, voodoo, and sorcery are inherently destructive. However, as a witch, I can attest that practicing magic can be used for positive purposes, such as helping people grow, seek truth, and learn. The only difference between a practiced witch and a pastor is that the pastor has sold their soul to a deity, teaching what the deity dictates. A witch honors deities but is not necessarily devoted to a single one.
Prayers and spells serve the same purpose: focused worship during music in a church and chanting around a fire for manifestation both aim to connect with something greater. The majority of witches do not attempt to convert others, do not start wars, and instead receive unnecessary persecution, especially from pious and self-righteous Christians. This highlights the irony that the very beliefs they hold dear can lead to such harsh criticism.
The Nature of Witchcraft and Perception
Nature appreciation and respect for all life are not evil. Getting information from more sources and seeking truth through multiple methods is not a form of deception. It’s about understanding and balance. A recommendation from a chemist to use a product from their company can be viewed with skepticism, as it aligns with their financial interests rather than the truth.
The world is complex, and believing in a singular narrative can be limiting. Understanding the diverse beliefs and practices of different cultures and religions can broaden our perspective and promote a more inclusive and enlightened society.
