Unveiling the Conspiracy Theories in Attack on Titan: Season 1-2

As a dedicated fan, my journey through the world of Attack on Titan began with the manga but truly came to life with the anime series. Particularly, the theories surrounding the titans were fascinating and sparked a lot of discussion within the fan community. I remember developing my own theories while enjoying season 1 and they became even more intriguing when I delved into the manga. One of my favorite theories involved the nature of the titans themselves and how they might be a different species altogether.

The Titans as a Different Species

My primary theory was that the titans, as we knew them in the series, were not just mindless creatures bent on destroying humanity. My view evolved from the simple notion that the titans were genetically modified by the Wall Sina scouts to a more complex perspective. I believed that these titans, originally sent by a different species, may have had their own reasons for attacking humanity one day. This theory was further confirmed for me when I watched the No Regret OVA, which provided additional insight into the history of the titans.

Another interesting aspect of my theory was the existence of ‘giant’ titans, such as the Armored and Colossal Titans, who could speak and communicate with humans. I speculated that these titans lived far away from the Walls and had their own kingdom, which is why no one else could make contact with them. It’s possible that some of these titans understood humans and could potentially be allies rather than enemies. This hypothesis kept me intrigued and eager to explore more.

The Mystery of Titan Leaders

The idea of titan leaders led me to cultivate further theories about the nature of these colossal creatures. I thought that the leaders of the titans must have been creatures like the Colossal Titan—strong, intelligent, and possibly living in isolation from the rest of the worlds' titans. I believed these leaders could have their own languages and could potentially communicate with humans. This theory became more compelling when I realized that some of the Armored Titans could understand humans despite their physical differences.

The theories surrounding the Titan leaders also made me wonder about the political and social structures of the titans. Were they governed by a hierarchical system like the Walls Sina? Could the leaders be like kings or emperors who ruled over their titans in their own kingdoms? This idea of a separate titan society intrigued me and added depth to the series for me.

Conclusion: The Evolution of Theories

Theorizing and dissecting the Attack on Titan series offered me a deeper understanding of the story. With theories like the ones I explored, the series became more than just a high-stakes battle against the titans; it became a complex narrative filled with mystery, politics, and hidden truths. These theories not only added to the enjoyment of watching the series but also sparked my curiosity to explore the world of Attack on Titan even further.

While some of these theories may seem far-fetched, they represent the fascination and dedication fans have for the series. The fans of Attack on Titan continue to speculate and theorize, contributing to the rich ecosystem of fan theories and discussions.
