When I Die, Will I Be a Different Gender After Rebirth?

Beliefs Surrounding Rebirth and Gender

There is no reincarnation; you have one physical life. Live it well so that you can spend eternity with God, saved by Jesus.

According to most religious beliefs, human souls will either be in Heaven or Hell. In my last incarnation, I felt my soul leave my body and was taken to Heaven, where I stood before Jesus. On a previous occasion, my soul left my body and communicated with a demon on Earth. The demon tried to possess my body, but I prayed to Jesus, and my soul returned unharmed.

Some fallacies surround the concept of rebirth and gender. Fallen angels created demigods from human women, whose evil spirits survived Noah's flood. These spirits, known as demons, can possess human hosts, often believing that the host's past life experiences are their own. However, the spirits locked in Hell, responsible for these afflictions, cannot reincarnate into new hosts.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 states:

Now the Holy Spirit says clearly that in the last times some people will abandon the faith by following deceitful spirits, the teachings of demons.

Choice in Gender Before Incarnation

Many religions that believe in reincarnation do not give definitive answers regarding the choice of gender. Generally, there is a possibility of reincarnating as the opposite sex, though it is not guaranteed.

However, when it comes to the question of whether the soul has a choice before incarnation, it becomes more complex. Spiritual laws and the law of Karma might determine which gender is more favorable for a soul's long-term growth. But this is more speculative and less concrete in religious doctrines.

From a practical standpoint, gender is a spectrum that can vary widely. From extremely masculine individuals with high levels of testosterone to ultra-feminine beings, the range is vast. People often experience a range of gender identities throughout their lifetime, which speaks to the inherent variability in human nature.

Cases of No Choice in Gender

It is not uncommon for individuals to feel they have no choice in their gender identity. For example, I once employed a man who was deeply ashamed of being homosexual and tried to change his orientation, which is a common human experience. It appears that many individuals are born with their sexuality, and they often have to adapt to their true nature.

Considering the persecution and hardship faced by some people due to their sexual orientation, it is challenging to believe that many of them chose to be gay or bisexual when they were incarnated. The idea that people might swing from one extreme to another seems plausible given the diverse range of gender identities observed in human populations.
